The KAmod SPI Flash module with the W25Q80 chip is a compact solution for memory expansion in embedded projects, data logging systems, configuration buffers, and applications requiring independent storage space. Its standard pin pitch allows easy use in prototyping and quick connection to popular microcontrollers supporting the SPI interface.
The KAmod SPI Flash module is equipped with a W25Q80 non-volatile memory chip offering 1 MB (8 Mb) of storage, enabling easy expansion of data storage in microprocessor and microcontroller systems. With an SPI interface clocked up to 50 MHz, the module is suitable for applications requiring fast data access. All interface signals are routed to standard 2.54 mm pitch headers—both as an edge-mounted pin strip and in a DIL8-compatible layout—facilitating integration with prototype boards and breadboards. The module includes a “Write Protect” jumper option to secure memory content.
