Description
XIAO Microscope is an innovative device combining a high-quality camera, precise optics, and advanced electronics, offering an affordable solution for education, scientific research, and field experiments. It utilizes the XIAO ESP32S3 Sense development board with an ESP32-S3 chip and OV2640 camera, enabling the transmission of high-resolution images. The microscope provides micrometer-level precision focus adjustment, supporting automatic focus alignment. Its sturdy casing ensures reliability during daily field research, and interchangeable microscope lenses allow flexible magnification adjustments to observe samples.
The modular design allows integration of various optical components, such as lenses, mirrors, or cameras placed in specialized blocks. These components can be combined into advanced optical setups like microscopes, with options to add autofocus modules or automated movable stages. The custom firmware leverages TinyML for real-time image processing, enabling integration with other sensors and hardware components for automated experiments. The microscope stands out with its ease of use, making it ideal for applications such as time-lapse imaging, education, environmental monitoring, field research, health studies, and rapid prototyping.
