Description
SIMATIC IOT2050 is an advanced IoT gateway, designed as an efficient solution for industrial IoT applications. Equipped with an ARM TI AM6528 GP processor, the gateway provides high computational power along with an integrated graphics controller and graphics card, enabling effective data processing and support for graphical applications.
The SIMATIC IOT2050 offers a microSD card slot and 1 GB DDR4 RAM, providing ample flexibility and capacity for data storage and applications. It features Arduino slots and mPCIe for easy expansion and integration with additional modules and accessories.
It has 20 digital inputs and 20 digital outputs, with an output voltage range from 3.3 V to 5 V. The gateway interfaces include: 2 industrial Ethernet interfaces 100/1000 Mbps, 2 PROFINET interfaces, 2 USB 2.0 ports, USB connector for keyboard/mouse, and 1 serial COM interface (RS 232/422/485). Additionally, the gateway features a DisplayPort graphical interface for connecting external monitors.
Additional features include temperature monitoring, watchdog, and status LEDs, which facilitate device management and monitoring. The gateway is housed in an enclosure with IP20 protection, providing protection against dust and access to internal parts. It is powered by 12/24 V DC and can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from 0 °C to 50 °C.
