CM 1242-5 Simatic NET communication processor. It enables the SIMATIC S7-1200 to be connected to the Profibus network as a DP Slave using a 9-pin RS485 interface connector. The module is powered by 5 V. It enables transmission in the Profibus network at a speed of 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s.
