Description
Arduino Education Starter Kit is an educational kit perfect for primary and secondary school students, introducing them to the world of programming, coding, and electronics. The kit requires no prior experience, as each step is clearly outlined, and teachers have access to guides and notes. The learning pace can be adjusted to the students' level, making it easy to integrate the kit into various curricula. The kit helps students develop key 21st-century skills such as collaboration and problem-solving, and enables open-ended experiments and deeper learning through hands-on activities.
The Arduino Education Starter Kit includes all the necessary hardware and software components to accommodate eight students (in groups of 2). It offers detailed step-by-step lessons, teacher notes, and exercises. The kit also provides additional optional resources such as activities, theoretical concepts, and interesting facts to enrich the lessons. The online platform features 9 lessons, each 90 minutes long, and two open group projects that teach coding and electronics. Each lesson builds on the previous one, allowing for gradual absorption and practical application of knowledge. Students have access to an engineering journal to document their progress. At the beginning of each lesson, educational goals, estimated duration, and a general overview are provided. The teacher guide includes helpful notes, and at the end of each lesson, there are suggestions for further exploring the topics discussed.
