Description
This micrometer is designed to accurately measure sizes with a range from 0 to 25 mm. Thanks to the digital display, the user can easily read the measurements, which are displayed alternately in inches and millimeters. The device is equipped with a steel ball embedded in a rubber mounting, which allows stable and precise positioning on the measured surface. Measurement methods
Absolute measurement: To measure an object, spread the micrometer's measuring surfaces a greater distance than the object being measured and then fine-tune using the spindle knob. Tightening is continued with a friction clutch knob that prevents over-tightening. The measurement ends when the friction clutch engages, ensuring accuracy and repeatability of the results.
Relative measurement: This method is used to compare two different dimensions. After taking the base measurement and changing the object, the user can measure again and read the difference in dimensions.
