2-port vector network analyzer operating from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, enabling fast and precise S-parameter measurement thanks to the use of FPGA and three 16-bit ADCs. It offers up to 100 dB dynamic range (up to 3 GHz), Windows/Linux/macOS support, and spectrum analyzer and signal generator functions, making it a versatile tool for laboratory and field applications. LibreVNA
LibreVNA is a 2-port, USB-based vector network analyzer designed for professional measurements across a wide frequency range from 100 kHz to 6 GHz. The design uses three ADC converters and an FPGA for simultaneous sampling and fast signal processing. This allows for the measurement of over 10,000 data points from two ports in less than one second. The use of precise 16-bit ADCs, low-noise power design, and a sturdy CNC-machined aluminum enclosure enables a dynamic range up to 100 dB (up to 3 GHz). LibreVNA supports measurements of all standard parameters: S11, S21, S12, S22, with accuracy comparable to lab-grade devices. Please note that performance may degrade at frequencies above 3 GHz and below 1 MHz. The device supports Windows, Linux, and macOS (64-bit) and connects via USB-C. It also includes spectrum analyzer and signal generator functionalities, making it a highly versatile measurement tool.
