SL-MIPI-DSI-eDP-CNV v1.1 enables the conversion of MIPI-DSI signals to eDP, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60 fps. The module is designed for SoMLabs boards but is also suitable for other MCU/MPU systems, offering a flexible solution for image display with an eDP interface.
Module converting video signal from the MIPI-DSI interface to embedded DisplayPort (eDP), based on the SN65DSI86 chip. Compatible with the MIPI-DSI bus (DSI1.02, D-PHY 1.1) and the eDP 1.4 standard. Supports data transmission using 1 to 4 MIPI data lanes with a maximum throughput of up to 6 Gb/s. Enables image display at resolutions up to 4096 × 2304 px at 18 bpp or 1920 × 1080 px at 120 fps and 24 bpp. The module is designed for SoMLabs baseboards equipped with a MIPI-DSI output with an FPC30 connector but can also be used with other MCU/MPU systems. Connection to the carrier board is made via an FPC30 A-A type ribbon cable. The module operates in an extended temperature range and is supported by Linux systems dedicated to SoMLabs modules.
