M5Stack RFID Unit is a module with an RFID reader designed for M5Stack sets. The reader is based on the MFRC522 chip and operates in the 13.56 MHz frequency band. The module communicates with the development kit via the I2C interface. It supports popular protocols: ISO14443A, MIFARE and NTAG and can read data from an RFID card from a distance of up to 8 cm.
