Description

Prusament PETG Prusa Galaxy Black is designed for 3D printing of parts requiring high mechanical strength, good temperature resistance and durability in everyday use. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to the actual production data of the given batch.

PETG material is characterized by low shrinkage and strong interlayer adhesion, which reduces the risk of warping even when printing larger objects without an enclosure. The filament is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, including parts exposed to moisture. Compared to PLA, it offers higher mechanical resistance and flexibility at the cost of slightly lower fine detail reproduction.
