PETG filament (yellow) with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a net weight of 1 kg, manufactured by Prusa Research with a diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm, supplied on a spool with an NFC tag for automatic material recognition in Prusa printers. Prusa Research
Prusament PETG Mango Yellow 1kg NFC is intended for 3D printing of parts requiring high mechanical strength, good thermal resistance, and durability in everyday use. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter measurement, color uniformity control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to real production parameters of the specific batch.

PETG material is characterized by low shrinkage and good interlayer adhesion, which reduces the risk of warping even when printing larger parts without an enclosed chamber. The filament is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including parts exposed to moisture. Compared to PLA, PETG offers higher mechanical strength and flexibility, at the cost of slightly reduced fine-detail reproduction.
The spool is equipped with an NFC tag compliant with the OpenPrintTag standard, enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers, which simplifies material setup and print process management.
