About the book (only in Polish)
The book methodically and accessibly describes the design of servo drives based on S7-1500 controllers, SINAMICS drives, and TIA Portal 15.1 software. The first three chapters concern drive components: motors, servo drives, and encoders. The next two chapters discuss servo drive structures. Chapter eleven explains axis motion control using TIA Portal. In the following two chapters, axis configuration in Technological Objects for S7-1200 and S7-1500 is presented, with a detailed description of speed and position drive configurations. The next three chapters concern multi-axis drives: axis synchronization, cam control, and various kinematic structures. Chapter 17 is devoted to safe servo drives. The operation of all drives is illustrated with examples.
This book is intended for all those interested in designing machines using single- and multi-axis drives in manufacturing processes, as well as for engineering staff involved in the practical application of drives.
About the authors
JANUSZ KWAŚNIEWSKI is a retired professor of the AGH University of Science and Technology. His publication output includes over 100 scientific papers and 6 books on programming and the use of PLC controllers in industry. The industrial installations he has commissioned abroad (Italy, Iran) and in Poland facilitate the selection of topics useful to automation engineers. His interests focus on advanced control design for nonlinear objects.
IRENEUSZ DOMINIK is an associate professor employed at the Department of Process Automation in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology. His publication output includes over 100 scientific papers. He has extensive experience in industrial collaboration, implementing numerous industrial projects and participating in several research projects. His main area of interest is the use of artificial intelligence algorithms in automation systems and in Industry 4.0.
KRZYSZTOF LALIK is a PhD and assistant professor employed at the Department of Process Automation in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology. He is the author of over 60 scientific papers. He specializes in the design and implementation of modern automation systems, programming of industrial controllers and microprocessor systems, SCADA systems, and OPC UA. He is a co-creator of the first research and teaching Industry 4.0 laboratory in Poland.
MATEUSZ KOZEK is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. His main area of interest is deep machine learning techniques and their application in Industry 4.0 technologies.
