TPL5110 external counter module to turn on a project after a set time and save energy. The TPL5110's delay is configurable with resistors ranging from 100 ms to two hours. SparkFun PRT-15353
Module with an external counter TPL5110, which allows you to turn on the project after a set time and save energy if the device does not need to run all the time. It allows, for example, after reading measurements from sensors, sending data and storing them in the recorder, to turn off the power and then turn it on again, for example, after 1h.
The TPL5110's delay is configurable via resistors. Operation is facilitated by a six-way DIP switch, which allows you to select one of five pre-installed resistors. A sixth switch is attached to a pad that allows you to add your own PTH (or SMD) resistor. The delays associated with the pre-installed settings are labeled on the bottom of the board for quick configuration. In addition, more than one switch can be selected to connect resistors in parallel (up to 26 options, not including a custom resistor).
The Nano Power Timer supports voltages from 1.8 V to 5.5 V and currents up to 1.1 A. Timing configuration options range from 100 ms to two hours (preconfigured settings from 30s to 2h). There is a button on the board that will allow the user to quickly override the delay, so you can turn on your project at any time. Full documentation and usage examples are available on the product page.
