HAT module for Raspberry Pi with four SSR relays, intended for switching AC circuits up to 240 V and 2 A, with LED status indication and overvoltage protection

Delivery date unknown
Out-of-Stock

Description

The module is designed as a HAT add-on for Raspberry Pi and is equipped with four solid-state relays intended for switching alternating current (AC) circuits with a maximum load of 2 A and a voltage of up to 240 V AC. Compared to electromechanical relays, SSR relays do not contain mechanical components, as they are built using semiconductor elements such as optocouplers and thyristors or triacs. This results in faster switching, longer service life, and silent operation. The board includes components for overvoltage protection as well as LEDs indicating the relay activation state. The module is used in home automation projects, lighting control systems, and outdoor or garden installations.

Features

  • 4x relay outputs – OMRON G3MB with integrated snubber circuits
  • Built-in SIOV varistors (surge current: 400 A)
  • Switching method: zero-cross
  • Output load rating:
    • 0.1–2 A / 100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz
    • Operating voltage range: 75–264 V
    • Peak current: 30 A (@ 60 Hz, 1 cycle)
  • LED indicators showing relay activation status
  • ARK screw terminals
  • Jumpers enabling disconnection of the relay from the GPIO port

Kit includes

  • 1x Assembled and tested module
  • 1x Set of screws and spacers for mounting the HAT to a Raspberry Pi board
