A special hardened nozzle for Prusa printers with a nickel plating, designed for use with abrasive materials and applications requiring increased durability. The nickel coating improves heat transfer and wear resistance, ensuring consistent print quality. Maximum operating temperature up to 300°C. Prusa Research Hardened Nozzle (Nickel plated) 0.4 mm
The Prusa Hardened Nozzle (Nickel plated) 0.4 mm is a hardened nozzle designed for printers equipped with the Nextruder system. Thanks to its increased hardness, it is suitable for printing filaments containing carbon fiber, glass fiber, metallic particles, and other abrasive additives that quickly wear out standard brass nozzles.
The nickel plating enhances corrosion resistance and improves thermal conductivity, resulting in stable filament flow and precise layer formation with a 0.4 mm nozzle diameter.
