Prusament PLA Prusa Orange is intended for 3D printing of models requiring high surface quality, precise geometry reproduction, and stable process parameters. Manufacturing by Prusa Research includes continuous diameter measurement with an accuracy of ±0.02 mm, color consistency control, and mechanical property verification for each production batch. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to detailed production data.
PLA material offers low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, reducing the risk of deformation even when printing larger parts on open-frame printers without an enclosed chamber. The Prusa Orange color provides an intense, uniform surface with high contrast, suitable for prototypes, enclosures, identification parts, and visual models. Compared to PETG, PLA enables easier print parameter setup and more accurate reproduction of fine details, with lower resistance to elevated temperatures and mechanical loads.
