Basic knowledge and concepts from power electronics, power electronics devices and control systems of these devices, defines the concepts of control and regulation, describes open and closed systems, proportional controllers, discrete controllers , criteria for quality evaluation and selection of controllers settings, semiconductor device controllers, power supplies for control systems. The book discusses the controllers and their role in control systems, digital-analogue and analog-digital converters and the use of microprocessors in power electronics converters, as well as protection of control systems against interference.
