Description

A laser scanner that uses ToF technology to create a map in a 2D plane. The sensor performs measurements at a frequency of 4500 Hz, which is 5 to 13 revolutions per second. It has a range of up to 12 m, and the accuracy of the radar distance measurement does not change with the distance and can reach ± 45 mm. The sensor communicates via the UART interface and is powered with the voltage of 5 V. The built-in brushless motor ensures long-term and failure-free operation, and the refined optical design effectively protects against strong interference from the ambient light. Its small dimensions make it ideal for use in SLAM algorithms, for determining the position of the robot in space, creating maps of the terrain in which it is located, detecting objects and planning the robot's route.
