Description
Anyone who's seen the movie "Back to the Future" remembers the iconic gull-wing doors car that served as Marty McFly's time machine. Gull-wing doors are head-turners, they are spectacle, they are automotive grace and style, nature turned into steel. First introduced in the 1950s gull-wings are hinged at the roofline and open upwards, creating a larger opening than traditional doors for easy entry and egress.
The Ugears Winged Sports Coupe lets you dream the dream without breaking the bank. The third car in the Dual Motors collection, this graceful 1: 24 scale model coupe has 2 modes of operation: wind the car with the ratchet key located under the detachable chassis, or pull the car back along a flat surface and release. The car also features a hood that lifts to reveal a model engine. Made of art-quality composite wood parts that you punch out of laser pre-cut boards, the toy car has a wonderful natural wood aroma and natural wood feel. As with all Ugears models, we recommend sanding off any burs on the composite wood pieces, waxing and "developing" the moving parts once they are assembled by operating until gears and other moving parts run smoothly.
The Winged Sports Coupe DIY mini auto kit has 265 parts and is rated "Medium" difficulty level. Everything you need for assembly comes right in the box, including sandpaper, wax, and illustrated step-by-step instructions in 11 languages (English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean). This mechanical model promises 4+ hours of enjoyable build time, after which you get to pull up on your friends and family, pop the gull-wing doors, and watch their reactions!
