Description
MP3 player module controlled by I2C interface or switching inputs. It is based on a 1.4 W class D audio amplifier. The board has a 3.5 mm headphone output and a connector for connecting a loudspeaker. Audio files are played from the microSD card. MP3 Trigger can play and mix up to 10 stereo tracks simultaneously. Trigger inputs can be connected directly to switches and buttons, or to digital outputs from sensors or another microcontroller. All settings, including volume, EQ, and I2C address, are stored in the NVM and loaded each time the power is turned on. The I2C address can be modified with a solder jumper or assigned with a software command. Full documentation and usage examples are available on the product page.

- MP3 decoder IC WT2003S provides USB access to microSD slot (up to 32GB) and MP3 decoding
- The ATtiny84 receives I2C commands and controls the MP3 decoder
- The Poke-home connector allows you to solidly but temporarily connect your speakers without soldering
- Trigger pins 1, 2, 3 and 4
- Up to 255 tracks can be loaded onto the SD card and played via the I2C interface
- Built-in 1.4W Class D monaural amplifier based on TPA2005D1
- Address jumper to select I2C address 0x37 (default) and 0x38. The I2C address can also be configured via software to one of 110 different addresses.
