Description

The Analog Discovery Pro ADP5470 is a computer accessory that transforms your personal computer into a universal, multifunctional tool for measuring, visualizing, generating, and recording signals in an electronics lab.

The core component is a four-channel oscilloscope offering 8-bit resolution and 350 MHz bandwidth with a sampling rate of up to 1.5 GS/s. Additionally, the device is equipped with 34 digital channels, a built-in power source, digital outputs, a single-channel generator, and external triggers. In total, the ADP5470 offers 11 functions:

Analog Discovery Pro is supported by the free WaveForms software. The device communicates with WaveForms via a USB connection to the computer, allowing users to capture, record, analyze, and generate signals and waveforms. WaveForms can be tested without hardware, using a demo mode feature. The application also includes a tool that allows for custom script creation in JavaScript. WaveForms runs on laptops or desktop computers and is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. Users also have access to the WaveForms SDK, a set of software libraries and examples for creating custom applications in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, and Python, as well as using LabVIEW and MATLAB.
