With battery-powered digital circuits, remember that the cell voltage changes over time. An alternative solution is the use of a high-efficiency voltage converter, which one of the possible variants is presented in kit AVT1372.
Recommendations : useful for all users of digital systems that need to be battery powered - 5V voltage can be obtained from a single 1.5V cell!
