The availability of more and more advanced LEDs has meant that they are gradually replacing traditional light sources, ie ubiquitous light bulbs. We present one of the possible applications - a flashlight. As the light source was used in it a glowing white light, high-power LED diode. It is characterized by a luminous flux of up to 140 lumens and durability (with adequate cooling) of at least 50,000 hours. Since the correct way of feeding the diode is a condition for proper operation, the PSoC processor has been used to monitor it. It guarantees high parameters of the device and provides additional functions - the ability to work as a flasher and a convenient setting of the working point of the LED element.

The device is especially recommended where it is necessary to illuminate the darkness; at home, at night, at the scout camp, etc.
