In many places it is required to maintain the temperature at a given value. This applies not only to living quarters in the winter but also to other, such as greenhouses.
The presented two-zone thermostat consists of three modules:
All modules have an RS485 interface. Thanks to this, it is possible to distance the temperature sensors and actuators from the controller to a distance of up to 1,200 meters!
The presented thermostat allows you to measure temperature in three places: locally, near the controller itself and remotely in two points. The use of the RS485 interface to design not only enabled remote temperature measurement, but also made the transmission resistant to interference.
Recommendations: the project is not only functional, but also presents the use of the RS485 interface in its own device. We particularly dedicate it to people dealing with building automation.
