When starting analog devices, it is often necessary to monitor several changing voltages. For this purpose, you can switch the multimeter between the tested objects or use several voltmeters. Switching meters is uncomfortable and is not possible if, for example, two voltages have to be observed simultaneously. The use of several multimeters is, however, uneconomical.
Recommendations: multi-point voltage measurement (and therefore also: temperature, pressure, humidity, mass, etc.), especially in systems requiring continuous monitoring of the measured parameter values. Due to the modular design, the voltmeter can also be used as an indicator, for example in a regulated power supply.
