FREQUENCY SYNTHESIZE ON ADF4007 SYSTEM - PRINTED BOARD
Building a stable generator already on the short wave range creates numerous difficulties. With increasing frequency, the problem of ensuring the stability of the tunable generator becomes more and more difficult to overcome. A commonly used solution is the use of a phase-locked loop. The presented system has been developed based on the ADF4007 'cube' being the integrated PLL loop. Its operation consists in creating an error voltage proportional to the phase difference of the compared signals and thus leads to the equalization of the reference signal frequency and the compared one. This process, taking into account the use of the frequency divider of the voltage-oscillating oscillator (VCO), causes the system to behave like a reference frequency multiplier.
The device is especially recommended for all amateur radio users who need a stable RF generator.
