STEP MOTOR CONTROLLER WITH MODBUS INTERFACE - PRINTED PLATE
We present a simple, microprocessor controller for low power stepper motors. Full control possibilities are obtained through a serial interface, but the system is also equipped with a simple keyboard connector that allows entering commands without using a computer. It is then possible to start and stop the engine, change direction and speed. The popular ATmega8 microcontroller controls the whole. The control software was written in C using the GCC compiler.
The device is especially recommended for people involved in controlling and using low-power stepper motors
