Probably each of the drivers at least once exceeded the allowed speed. Such situations will help to eliminate the presented limiter. Its basic task is to warn about exceeding the pre-set speed. There may be several such alarms - for different speeds. The additional functions of the device include temperature measurement in the vehicle cabin, displaying the current, maximum and average speed on the current road section, as well as automatically switching on the lights.
The limiter was designed using the AT89C4051 processor. The readings are presented on the LCD display, whose backlight color can be selected for the backlight of the dashboard. For measuring the speed (current in most modern cars and available at the radio connector) the signal of the road transducer (WEG) is used.
