In many microprocessor systems, there is a need to use clear, inexpensive 7-segment LED displays and at the same time present a large amount of data. While the control of this type of displays is very simple, the use of a larger number of them creates many problems and inconveniences. Even with multiplex control, controlling a large number of LED displays will take up valuable microcontroller ports and load them programmatically. Therefore, the ideal solution is to use a separate module - LED display driver, to which the I2C bus is delivered. It is an inexpensive and convenient alternative to complex single-chip systems.
The presented module allows displaying digits and numbers in decimal and hexadecimal notation, any dot control, etc.
The device is especially recommended for all building microprocessor systems with the data display function

Inside are two sensors, one is a classic 3-axis accelerometer, which can tell you which direction is down towards the Earth or how fast the board is accelerating in 3D space. The other is a magnetometer that can sense where the strongest magnetic force is coming from, generally used to detect magnetic north. Adafruit 1247
