The thermometer is probably the most popular topic of simple electronic projects. This small gadget allows you to obtain electronic knowledge and the ready is characterized by great suitability in every home.
The presented system has a number of advantages - a large, legible display, accuracy of operation and the ability to register the highest and lowest measured value. The ready-made, integrated and calibrated DS18S20 temperature sensor was used as the measuring element. It communicates with the rest of the system via the 1Wire bus. The AT89C2051 microcontroller is responsible for displaying. The processor reads the temperature value approx. 5 seconds, displays the result and writes the measured value to the memory as long as it exceeds the previous measurements.
A device particularly useful at home, in meteo stations, recommended to electronics experts learning the nuances of the 1Wire bus
