The use of the SRS processor in a classic stereo audio track extends the stereo base beyond a well-defined area located between the speakers reproducing the left and right channel signals. The applied method of sound processing allows to create an acoustic space with properties similar to classical surround solutions, but without the need to use a large number of loudspeaker sets.
