Flowcode is seen primarily as an environment for creating programs by people who do not know any programming language. Built-in hardware macros ensure fast creation of control algorithms without having to learn about the microcontroller's peripheral design and to some extent - external circuits connected. A typical example of such an approach is the alphanumeric LCD display. The user also does not have to worry about the knowledge of keyboard operation algorithms, major serial buses, etc.
Recommendations: a functional clock with a thermometer, which is also an interesting example of using the FlowCode compiler.

  • PIC16F88 microcontroller, MCP79512 clock system with battery backup
  • display 1 line ž 8 characters
  • display of time (minutes and hours) and temperature
  • software in FlowCode v4.0
