The device is an extension of the TID controller presented in 2008 in the pages of Elektronika Praktyczna. However, it was an uncomplicated automation system cooperating with original displays installed in Opel vehicles, while TIDex is a complete "on-board computer" equipped with many useful, useful functions, adapted to be installed in an Opel car.
