Robot Arduino (A000078)

The Arduino robot is the first official Arduino "on wheels." It has two processors, one on each board, one with motor control, the second with sensor readings and decision making based on the algorithm and readings. Both plates are compatible with Arduino IDE, so both can be programmed in the same way as standard Arduino.

Both used microcontrollers are ATmega32u4 , so programming is very similar to the Arduino Leonardo programming. The built-in USB interface makes the connected board detected in the system as a virtual COM port.

As always - in the case of Arduino - every element of the hardware platform, software and documentation is available under an open-source license (open source). This means that everyone can find out exactly how the individual elements were designed and made, which will allow for the subsequent construction of their own structure from scratch. The Arduino robot is the result of the work of an international team of electronics enthusiasts trying to combine learning with good fun.
