eXtrino XL v1.1 (smd)
Development kit with ATxmega128A3U microcontroller, Leon Instruments, RoHS
The eXtrino XL module enables prototyping of devices using the ATmega128A3U-AU processor and learning programming of modern microcontrollers from the XMEGA series from Atmel. What's more, the eXtrino module works with Arduino overlays . It should be remembered, however, that some Arduino covers are designed to work with old ATmega processors, powered from 5V, and XMEGA works with 3.3V. Changing the voltage with which the overlays are to work is done by setting one jumper. The eXtrino XL module has been designed so that the user can expand it himself and connect additional integrated circuits, according to his own needs. For this purpose, a number of different stands are placed on the board (applies to the FULL version ), in which you just need to insert a compatible system:

The main difference in version v1.1 in relation to eXtrino XL (v1.0) consists in adding connectors for KAmod modules, thanks to which a wide range of sensors, executive modules and input interfaces can be connected to the set. eXtrino XL v1.1 comes in two versions.
The SMD version has all SMD components soldered, as well as programmer connectors, display connector and KAMOD connectors, but it does not have stands, encoder and connectors for Arduino modules - this makes the board much cheaper and the rest of the components can be soldered on their own.
The FULL version has all components soldered and instead of integrated circuits, the bases are soldered to allow quick change of the system needed in the design.
