(Touch Sensor Module) Single touch sensor module, warm white, ERAmatic

Description

The touch module has been designed as a cheap alternative to available industrial touch buttons. The single-touch sensor module can be used for rapid prototyping platforms, eg: Arduino, STMDiscovery or Microchip, AVR, DSP and other systems, as well as as a stand-alone button operating even in industrial solutions. The module sends a signal to the output when the button board is touched and a group of LEDs built into the board lights up (the diode control signal may come from touch directly or from the microcontroller output). The high signal is sent as long as the button field is touched. The touch module can be used in many applications, eg as a switch, keyboard, change of the button from mechanical to tactile.

The touch button built on the AT42QT1010 chip is characterized by great capabilities of the detected object such as a finger, even after 8mm plexiglass coating. Additional openings in the board make it easier to assemble into plexiglass.

Technical data:

  • tactile keyboard module equipped with the AT42QT1010 chip
  • supply voltage: 2.4 - 5V or a special version 5V - 36VDC,
  • one sensor field - shielded,
  • response time: in fast mode: approx. 100ms, in low-power mode: approx. 200ms
  • dimension 25.4mm x 30mm, assembly on M3 screws
  • LED diodes indicating the touch of the key - 4
  • TTL level output signal: 0-5V

An example of using modules

  • replacement of tactile touch buttons in one-armed bandits machines
  • 8 point touch keyboard for the vending machine
  • device buttons type reflexometer
