The book proposes a novel way of teaching and learning basic analog circuits using a computer. He teaches how to study and learn the properties of electronic amplifiers using the PSpice program. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers, from students of technical schools of all types to students and employees using the PSpice program.
In the first part of the book, the authors present selected, advanced options of the PSpice program, useful for more efficient investigation of electronic circuits. Part I contains:
description of the syntax of the search functions
description of how to create your own search functions
description and interpretation of the low-level analysis (Transfer Function)
changing models and parameters of element models
procedures for creating your own sub-circuits
editing element symbols.
The second part of the book is devoted to the description of the basic properties of amplifiers and includes, among others:
determining the work point of the system
system configurations of amplifiers
sub-processes of operational amplifiers.
The description of individual systems includes:
description of methods of testing systems using various analyzes offered by the PSpice program
a brief description of the properties of individual systems
schematics of simulation systems and proposals of analysis settings
examination of the influence of individual elements on the system operation
design of layout fragments
comparison of system properties
exercises suggestions.
