Night Vision HD Camera (E) for Raspberry Pi with IR illumination - Waveshare 10300

Description

5 MP camera module with OV5647 sensor designed for Raspberry Pi boards equipped with a CSI connector. The camera supports video recording at 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90, as well as still images at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Communication is handled via the MIPI CSI-2 interface, enabling high-speed image data transfer.

The module features a fixed-focus lens with a focal length of 3.29 mm and F2.9 aperture. The field of view is approximately 69.8° (diagonal). The included IR LEDs allow image capture in complete darkness.

The camera does not include an IR-cut filter, enabling night vision operation, but resulting in reduced color accuracy in daylight conditions. The module is suitable for night monitoring, security systems and embedded vision applications.

Compact dimensions of 25 x 24 x 6 mm and connection via FFC cable allow easy integration into space-constrained designs.
