Description

The Embedded V and sion Bundle suite is the ideal tool for testing, development and learning the design of embedded vision systems. The kit includes a ZYBO Z7-20 plate with Soil Xilinx Zynq-7000, a Pcam 5C camera module and a 15-wire FFC connection cable. Data from the Omnivision OV5640 image sensor is transmitted via the MIPI CSI-2 interface, resulting in extremely low latency.

Digilent ZYBO Z7-20 plate

ZYBO Z7 plate is a richly equipped tool containing a programmable system from the Xilinx Zynq-7000 family: Z-7020. The Z-7020 system is based on the Xilinx All Programmable System-on-Chip (AP SoC) architecture, which integrates the ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor and the Xilinx 7 FPGA programmable system. Adding the ZYBO ZYBO board to the multimedia equipment, we get a complete multi-tasking system. To be used, among others: memory, audio and video inputs and outputs, USB interface, Ethernet interface, SD card slot . 6 connectors for Pmod modules can be used to expand the system.

ZYBO tiles are compatible with Vivado Design Suite and ISE / EDK. These tools allow you to develop software for the FPGA chip and ARM processor.

Digilent Pmod Pcam 5C

The Pcam 5C module is an image recording module for use with FPGA development boards. The module was designed around the Omnivision OV5640 (5 MP) sensor. The sensor has image processing functions, including automatic white balance, automatic black level calibration, saturation control, focus, etc. The data is transferred using the MIPI CSI-2 interface, which provides enough bandwidth to transmit 720p @ 60Hz and 1080p @ 30Hz. The module can be connected to the board using the 15-pin FFC cable included in the kit.
