The editor-in-chief recommends

"Digital-analogue" Barometer. In fact, two versions of the barometer. One with a classic pointer meter, the other with a digital LED display. In both key element is the pressure sensor module, containing the MEMS BMP180 integrated circuit.

EmotKey, or intelligent keyboard. An electronic system that will greatly facilitate many people working on a computer. It allows in a very simple way to enter emoticons and other characters that normally require embarrassing pressing a combination of a few buttons on a classic keyboard.

Arduino course: Use of I2C link or TWI. We are starting to use elements that communicate via the popular I2C link. We get acquainted with the Bosch BMP280 system, which is a precise integrated pressure, humidity and temperature sensor.

Inverters. The basic principle of operation is simple, but the problem turns out to be the necessity of full demagnetization of the core before the beginning of the next work cycle. We are starting to discuss various ways of core demagnetization, i.e. various configurations of forward converters.
