Description
Anyone can become a short-wave player after passing the appropriate exam, but first he should get acquainted with this hobby to assess whether this topic really interests her. Polish radio players can usually be heard in the 80 and 40m ranges. The farthest stations (already rarely Polish-speaking) will be heard in the 20m range. It is worth building a multi-band HF listening receiver, because depending on the time of the day and the year, as well as variable propagation conditions, we will not always hear something, having access to only one band.
The system is characterized by good electrical parameters and a small number of required external components. Receiver STAS, works in a classic superheterodyne system with a single frequency transformation from ff. 4.43MHz. The device uses two popular MC3362 and LM386 integrated circuits. The number of elements, including LC circuits, has been limited to the necessary minimum.
