The presented clock is another proposition for people who would like to make a clock based on Nixie lamps. The described construction provides basic functionality, i.e. reading hours and minutes, setting them and, importantly, also maintaining timing after power failure. The whole device is based on easily accessible and popular elements. The system is controlled by the ATmega8 microcontroller, and the RTC clock used is PCF 8583.
