Image processing practice in Matlab

The monograph is intended for people interested in image processing, but not necessarily efficiently using advanced computer programs for this purpose.

It presents "step by step" how to use the basic functions available in the Matlab - Image Processing program in the image processing process. Each of the discussed analysis and image processing functions is illustrated by a fragment of the algorithm written in the Matlab program and an example of the input image and the resulting image.

The book consists of four parts. The first presents the basic issues related to the digital representation of images in the Matlab program. The second part presents the point transformations of the image. The third part presents context transformations of the image. The fourth part presents two supplements that facilitate, in the opinion of the authors, the use of this work by readers who do not know the Matlab program.

According to the authors, an important facilitation in the use of this work is the created website http://zksb.tech.us.edu.pl/ on which all the considered examples were placed.
