AI accelerator in the form of a small device with a USB connector, equipped with a neural network accelerator (CNN) system. The accelerator is based on the Lightspeeur SPR2801S chip with a capacity of up to 9.3 TOPS per watt of power. The best peak performance of the 2801S is 5.6 TOPS at 100 MHz, it can also run in "ultra low power" mode, reaching 2.8 TOPS and consuming only 300 mW. The module has been optimized for use with single board computers based on Allwinner SoC systems, among others Orange Pi. Orange Pi AI Stick Lite is designed to speed up AI inference using the Caffe, TensorFlow and PyTorch platforms.
SPR2801S has SDIO 3.0 interface and eMMC 4.5 storage. It offers 68MB / s read bandwidth and 84.69MB / s write bandwidth. The NPU includes a 2-dimensional Matrix Processing Engine (MPE) with APiM (AI Processing in Memory) technology.
