RTC PCF8563 real-time clock
Description
The RTC real time clock is used for precise and independent timing. Built-in battery allows you to maintain power and continuous operation, even if the microcontroller hangs or performs other operations.
The supply voltage is from + 1 V to + 5 V. The module has an I2C interface and a CLKOUT connector, which is a programmable clock signal. It can generate 32.768 kHz, 1.024 kHz, 32 Hz or 1 Hz frequencies.
