Description

The Segger J-Link Ultra is a high-performance USB debug probe designed for programming and debugging microcontrollers and processors equipped with JTAG and SWD interfaces. The device utilizes a fast CPU, an integrated FPGA, and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface to provide high data throughput and reduced Flash and RAM programming times.

The debug probe supports a wide range of microcontrollers and processors based on Arm Cortex-M, Cortex-R, Cortex-A, ARM7, ARM9, ARM11, Renesas RX and RISC-V architectures. It is compatible with most popular development environments, including SEGGER Embedded Studio, Visual Studio Code and GDB-based tools.

J-Link Ultra offers download speeds of up to 4 MB/s and supports target interface frequencies up to 50 MHz. The integrated Real Time Transfer (RTT) technology enables fast communication between the application and the host computer without stopping the target device. The probe also provides target power measurement capabilities, helping developers analyze and optimize power consumption in embedded applications.

Integrated licenses for Unlimited Flash Breakpoints, Ozone and J-Flash are included. SEGGER provides free software updates as well as tools for programming both internal and external microcontroller Flash memories.
