Soldered LED Dice - electronic dice soldering kit

Description

The device LED Dice Solder Kit by Soldered is an educational soldering kit for building a functional electronic dice based on the ATtiny404 microcontroller. The generated result is displayed using seven LEDs arranged to reproduce the traditional dot patterns of a standard dice.

A built-in SW-18020P vibration sensor detects movement. When the assembled dice is shaken, the microcontroller generates a random value from 1 to 6 and displays the corresponding pattern using the LEDs. Once assembled, the finished device can therefore be used like a conventional dice.

The SMD components are factory pre-soldered, while the user assembles the through-hole components, including seven LEDs, resistors, the vibration sensor, a switch and the battery holder. Clear markings on the PCB help identify the correct position of each component during assembly.

Power is supplied by the included CR2032 battery mounted in a holder on the rear of the PCB. The kit also includes a keychain ring, making the completed electronic dice easy to carry.
