Description
Salmiak (ammonium chloride) in the form of a stone with dimensions of 65 x 45 x 20 mm is intended for effective cleaning of soldering tips. The cleaning process is carried out by rubbing the heated tip over the surface of the salmiak, which causes the release of hydrochloric acid, which effectively removes the layer of oxides from the surface of the tip. The use of salmiac allows maintaining high quality of soldering, but requires neutralization of the resulting acid reaction after the process is completed. The product is particularly useful for cleaning large soldering tips, ensuring their longer life and better thermal conductivity.
