Emic 2 - Text-to-Speech Module

Description

Multilingual voice synthesizer module. Converts a stream of digital text to natural sound. Using the widely recognized DECtalk text and speech synthesizer engine, the Emic 2 module provides full speech synthesis capabilities for any embedded system using a simple command interface.

For the module to work, just connect the Emic-2 to the 5 V power supply and the speaker to the 3.5 mm output. Communication with the module is via a serial interface. The module supports 9 different voices and can even control speech parameters on the fly.
