The monitor is non-touch. Power and data transmission are handled via a single USB Type-C connection. A built-in microphone enables real-time audio spectrum analysis. The dedicated Waveshare PC Monitor software offers a theme editor with live preview and support for dynamic video backgrounds.
Compatible with Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11 as well as Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, and Retropie. The screen operates in vertical orientation by default, with the option to switch to horizontal mode via software settings. The monitor does not affect system performance and is not recognized as an extended display by the operating system, avoiding unintentional cursor movement.
